Annual Leave: Our employees benefit from a generous annual leave offer of between 23 - 30 days , based on their pay scale and length of service including continued service with other recognised organisations.
Annual Leave Purchase Scheme: This optional scheme allows employees to enhance their leave entitlement for work-life balance. Employees can apply to purchase an additional 5 - 10 days' leave (pro-rata for part time employees), subject to service need.
Flexibility To Meet A Changing Workforce: We think that agile working introduces greater flexibility and empowers employees to work smarter whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance and we know this is important to you too. That is why the council has developed an agile, hybrid blended working model which allows some employees to work flexibly, whether that's working from home, working from the agile hub, working from a council building, or from workplaces in the community.
Ways Of Working For Well-Being: We offer different types of spaces that facilitate the needs of agile workers and develop our culture of working together. This includes a combination of space for desk-based work, breakout, touchdown and collaboration spaces making the office about working with others and not working alone.
