I have worked at Go Active, Newton-Le-Willows Health & Fitness for 4 years. Starting as a Leisure Apprentice in 2021, I have now progressed to a permanent Fitness Instructor.  I have completed  qualifications which have developed my skills and knowledge including my Level 3 Personal Training qualification, Swimming Instructor Level 1 & 2, & National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. I am currently completing my Level 3 GP Referral qualification. I love being able to bring new ideas to the fitness industry, have a great working relationship with the customers, and I have a great team around me.  There are some great benefits with the role, my favourite one includes flexible access to all facilities which means I can train before and after work.

I have worked in the service for nearly thirty years. I began my career as a Care Assistant/Support Worker, progressing to working as a Team Leader then onto an Assistant Manager post. I also spent a period of time working in the Social Work team as a Senior Social Worker.
