About the Team
This is a rare, exciting opportunity to join a small administration team of three, based in Education welfare service. We are all about supporting the education and personal development of children and young people in our town.
You will be joining a well established team, providing the administration support needed to fulfil their roles and statutory duties effectively.
The Education Welfare Service is a statutory service that offers a quality provision to children, their families, and schools. The service aims to enable children and young people to benefit from the educational opportunities available.

Under the guidance of senior staff be responsible for undertaking administrative, financial, organisational processes within the Directorate.
You will have a range of knowledge, skills and experience to bring to this role. These will include:
- Offering great customer care to service users
- Adhering to GDPR, safeguarding and other relevant legislation
- Creating positive working relationships with team members and wider staff
- Collating agendas, attending meetings, taking notes and actions for others
- Using a range of Microsoft Office apps, including Excel
- Interpretating and manipulating data
- Using a financial procurement system
- Providing advice, support and guidance to others on a range of administration skills
- Managing your time, solving problems and finding positive solutions
