Mill Green School is an exceptional Community Special School in St Helens, catering for the individual needs of young people aged 14 to 19 who present with a diverse range of needs including severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple complex physical/medical needs and autism. Many of our young people also have social communication difficulties, sensory or physical impairments which means that they benefit from the high quality specialist support the school is able to offer.
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and resilient Teacher (0.6 FTE) to join our dynamic and committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment where professional development is encouraged, and every child is valued. The successful candidate will be motivated by the belief that every young person can achieve their potential. Whilst previous experience of working in a SEN environment is desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
